We walked into your model home one sunny July afternoon and told you that we wanted to build a custom home. We had a basic idea of what we wanted but that was all.

Our building process started with a newspaper clipping of a floor plan we liked. After seven months of meetings, phone calls, countless questions and many, many change orders; your staff helped us design our very own and unique custom home.

Now that we’ve had a little time to live with our new kitchen, I wanted to take a moment to express to you how satisfied we were with the construction process. We were pleased that everything went essentially on schedule. Things happened pretty much when we were told they would happen and I know that’s not always easy on this type of project.

I especially want to compliment your field crew. We knew from past experiences that living in the house while work was going on would be difficult. We also knew that part of how difficult it would be determined by the workmen involved. These guys were very easy to be around and very careful to do everything they could to minimize the disruption to our lives. Diane and I have been in our new home for three months now. As we look back on working with all of you at Carriage Manor, we only have fond recollections of planning and building it.

Why did we choose Carriage Manor Builders?

Well, that’s a long story. I’m no contractor, so all of that construction talk made my wife and I really confused, you know...like 2x4 vs. 2x6, OSB or plywood, insulation R-factor? And the list goes on and on. My wife Lori and I based our choice to build with Carriage Manor on three reasons:

• I liked the way they priced their homes. They started with all of the upgrades on their price quote so that nothing was hidden. It was up to us what we wanted to remove or keep...unlike other builders who give you a low quote and then once you’re interested set the hook by adding all of the so-called extras that should have been included in the first place.
• By visiting other builders. What separated Carriage Manor was that everything they put into their homes was top notch and brand name. When we added something to our option list, we always knew that it was a quality product they gave us, (we never felt we had to check). Other builders we found were putting in second-rate materials in their homes and pricing them like they were first rate. (We found this out after we did a little legwork and researched their materials they wanted to add.)
• The last reason was word-of-mouth, which I felt was the most important. We knew a half dozen or so people that had just recently built homes and the only ones that really praised their builders were the ones that built with Carriage Manor Builders.

They were great from the first time we met them to the end of our construction. They catered to all of our needs and changes in house plans (which I know must have been difficult and they should all have been given a saint hood with all of the patience they had). And now that our home is finished and there is warranty work, I appreciate the expedient manor in which they schedule it and get it completed is superb. Carriage Manor Builders built us the house of our dreams and we want to say THANKS!”
